  • Simonton Windows Receives Highest Quality Rating in 2013 Brand Use Study

    COLUMBUS, OHIO – Simonton Windows, one of the nation’s leading manufacturers of replacement and new construction vinyl windows and patio doors, has been ranked highest in quality in the vinyl window category of the 2013 Brand Use Study published by Builder magazine. This marks the fifth time Simonton Windows has received the highest quality ranking in this particular study.

    “The study results show that builders truly value the time and attention we place in the custom creation of every Simonton window,” says Gary Pember, vice president of marketing at Simonton. “For more than 65 years Simonton has been dedicated to producing premium-quality windows and doors. This honor of being named the Brand Leader in Quality in the Vinyl Window category recognizes the commitment we have to bringing builders and homeowners the best possible vinyl windows for their homes and projects.”

    Pember cites Simonton’s unmatched leading status for a third consecutive year in the J.D. Power and Associate 2012 Windows and Patio Doors Satisfaction StudySM as another indicator of marketplace appreciation for Simonton products.

    The prestigious J.D. Power and Associates customer study for windows and patio doors was created in 2007. Since that time, Simonton has ranked highest with consumers in the 2010, 2011 and 2012 studies. In 2006, J.D. Power and Associates began conducting studies for ranking Builder and Remodeler Satisfaction among Residential Window and Patio Door Manufacturers. Simonton ranked highest for four consecutive years, 2008-2011 before the study was discontinued in 2012.

    The yearly Brand Use Study, presented by Builder magazine, originated in 1998 and includes a nationwide survey of builders on their preferences related to a wide variety of products and brands. Results of the 2013 Brand Use Study are being made available in an upcoming 2013 issue of Builder magazine.
